Bad news this year for sea otters in California and sea otter lovers.
Well, a lot of people have enjoyed our recent 10 Friday Photos post on otters. Unfortunately, I just got some bad news regarding these interesting creatures. California’s otter population is down quite a bit (11%) this year. For more on this issue, watch a video on sea otter population decline here. And, as CuteOtters.com says, to do you part to protect sea otters — donate money to organizations helping to protect sea otters and don’t flush kitty litter down the toilet!
