Yes, Greenpeace International Executive Director Kumi Naidoo is going to be interviewed by Facebook’s marketing spokesperson (CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s sister) today, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
This will give Naidoo the chance to publicly challenge Facebook to really go green and cut the coal, as 600,000 people have now asked it to do.
The interview will be live and starts in about 4.5 hours (10:00am EST).
Here’s more from Greenpeace:
Randi is even asking Facebook users to suggest questions on the livestream chat for her to ask Kumi. Here are some of our suggestions, or you can think of one of your own:
- What should Facebook do to phase out coal and promote renewables?
- Why is it so important that Facebook chooses renewable energy for their data centre operations?
Have some fun with it, be friendly, and spread the word by also posting your comment to your facebook wall.
