The GOES-13 satellite and NASA’s Aqua satellite have captured imagery of massive storm clouds stretching over the eastern third of the United States of America. The storm stretched from Minnesota east to Wisconsin and Michigan, then south through the Ohio Valley and all the way down to eastern Louisiana.

I don’t suppose this massive storm is related to the excess amounts of hydrocarbons in the atmosphere, left over from the Gulf oil spill? If so, we could expect to see many more massive storms.
