Galapagos Penguin off Isabela Island

These two Galapagos penguin enjoy an evening sunset on a small spit of lava in Elizabeth Bay off Isabela Island in the Galapagos. The photo was taken as we traveled in our “panga” back toward the Sagitta (our approach pictured below). Sagitta was home for a week as we explored the wildlife and ecology of the Galapagos, a world within itself.
