If you’re solar-curious, and want to know more about the costs, benefits, and designs for integrating a solar PV system for your home or business, or if you’re a solar PV professional looking for more tools to aid you in your work, a new app could allow you to do that, right from your smartphone or tablet.
EasySolar is about to launch their new app, which is being described as “the first app using cloud to design solar plants”, and right now, they’re offering free three-month subscriptions of the trial version for those who sign up right now.
There aren’t too many details on the EasySolar landing page yet, and the app hasn’t shown up on the App Store yet, but from what we can tell, this app will allow for the virtual design of solar arrays, as well as visualizations of solar PV systems using photos, maps, and drawings. The EasySolar app is said to include project management features, irradiation databases, and the ability to get quick dimensioning for PV arrays and to let you calculate possible solar power output for proposed projects.
Here are a couple of screenshots shared by EasySolar on Twitter, but unfortunately, they still don’t show much detail:

EasySolar is offering their free trial subscriptions to the first 1500 people, via a signup page on their site, and as of right now, there are over 300 spots still available.

Seems really cool stuff! I dont think there are those kind of solutions on pv market, curious to try! I have signed up and as I read it is just hitting the market now and it will be already available at the end of this month.
