This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tom’s of Maine. All opinions are 100% mine.
Tom’s of Maine is one of my preferred companies for toothpaste and other oral care products. In fact, this last summer when I was visiting the U.S. to attend my older sister’s wedding, I loaded up on some Tom’s of Maine products, since I can’t find them here in Poland (where I live now).
Aside from choosing Tom’s for personal health reasons, the company is also an environmental leader (something I like). From sourcing to manufacturing to packaging to recycling options provided through the Preserve® Gimme 5 program (note: I also loaded up on some Preserve® products in the States), Tom’s looks at and tries to minimize the environmental impact of its products throughout their full life cycles.
Another cool Tom’s of Maine feature that I ran across in the course of this trial is that on its website is a page dedicated to telling consumers a little more about the ingredients it uses. It supplies you with the source and purpose of each ingredient. Interesting idea and fun to browse through.
Wicked Fresh!™ Toothpaste and Mouthwash
Luckily, I recently got the opportunity to try out some new Tom’s products and review them here on Planetsave. So, without further ado, here’s my take on two of Tom’s newest products:
Tom’s Wicked Fresh!™ toothpaste is just how it sounds. It’s got a peppermint flavor that livens you up and makes your mouth feel completely fresh and clean (yes, in that Outkast sort of way). And while your teeth feel clean, it doesn’t feel like you just doused them in chemicals you’d be better off leaving out of your mouth.
Tom’s Wicked Fresh!™ mouthwash is similar. Cleansing but natural and,.. well,.. fresh. I have definitely never understood the point of filling your mouth with toxic chemicals to “clean” it. Happy that some companies, like Tom’s, feel the same way.
