On America Recycles Day (Nov. 15), green rewards program RecycleBank pledged to educate consumers about recycling right. Now, RecycleBank is using its “Learn & Earn” digital platform to educate consumers on recycling polyethylene terephthalate (or PET) bottles.
Don’t get offended if you are a super greeny and already know all about recycling, because you must know that plenty of others don’t, probably a large percentage of the population. And we all need to be educated on this matter.
RecycleBank recently teamed up with Naked Juice to develop a quick educational game about PET (you can play it above). You get 30 points from RecycleBank for watching the video and playing the short game, which you can then use in RecycleBank’s online shop.
What else is Naked Juice doing these days other than teaming up with RecycleBank on this consumer education program? Naked Juice recently introduced a reNEWabottle® for its 10-oz., 15.2-oz., and 64-oz. juice and juice smoothies that is made from 100-percent post-consumer recycled plastic and will reduce virgin plastic consumption by 7.4 million pounds per year.
If you aren’t recycling and buying recycled products now, hopefully this educational campaign will encourage you do start doing so.
