However, investing is also a way to show your support for an industry and company. Aside from myself, I know several people who are now engaged in &#8220;impact investing,&#8221; investing in solar companies, electric car companies (ahem, Tesla), wind companies, energy efficiency companies, and other cleantech companies.<\/p>\n<p>The other side of that coin is divesting from fossil fuel companies.
