And we have pictures of the interesting looking animal. Enjoy. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/planetsave.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/image59.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/planetsave.com\/files\/2013\/07\/image59-600x381.jpg\" alt=\"Zonkey ippo\" width=\"600\" height=\"381\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-37084\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The young zonkey &#8212; which has been named Ippo by the humans at the reserve &#8212; is in good health according to local reports. Something to note &#8212; the zonkey wasn&#8217;t bred intentionally, the male zebra escaped from its enclosure and jumped a fence in order to get to the female donkey.<\/p>\n<p>The animal reserve doesn&#8217;t do much intentional breeding at all really, more just serving as a place that can take in animals seized by police, injured, etc.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/planetsave.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/image60.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/planetsave.com\/files\/2013\/07\/image60-600x521.jpg\" alt=\"Zonkey family\" width=\"600\" height=\"521\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-37085\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While zonkeys perhaps physically resemble donkeys more than they do zebras &#8212; it&#8217;s been noted that they generally possess the temper and temperament of zebras.<\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-6260354429531949\";\n\/* Nathan PS *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"2067312064\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 468;\ngoogle_ad_height = 60;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>While a hybrid between a male zebra and a female donkey is known as a zonkey, when a male donkey and a female zebra mate it is known as a Donkra.
