Following up on Tom’s great post on Santorum’s global warming denial<\/a>, Colbert has a great segment completely dogging him for his belief that ‘plants benefit from global warming’ — below the Colbert video, also checking out a great and funny debunking of this claim from Peter Sinclair.<\/p>\n

In addition to nailing Santorum for his ignorance, Colbert nails Gingrich for his insanely stupid attack on algae biofuels and his ‘dreamland’ hypocrisy, and he creates a good laugh out of Mitt Romney’s hilariously pointless statement recently that you can’t drive a car with a windmill on it.<\/p>\n

The best part might be the very end where Colbert makes fun of where we’d be today if people like Romney, Gingrich, and Santorum were in control of our country in years past.<\/p>\n
