One of the biggest green living stories of the past several days is one of a a 13-year-old, Aidan Dwyer, who reportedly created and filed a patent for a groundbreaking, super energy-efficient solar panel array setup based on the Fibonacci sequence of some tree branches. The system was supposedly 20% more efficient than traditional, flat solar panel arrays, in general, and 50% more efficient in winter.

Disturbing Anti-Coal Plant Ads Take Over D.C. Metro Station

Starting July 12th, the Sierra Club started taking over all of the ad space inside Washington, D.C.’s Farragut North Station. They are sharing their message about the dangers of air pollution from coal-fired power plants and the related health risks. Around 80 metro cars have carried similar ads since April.

Italian Activists Hang Anti-Nuclear Banner from Stadium Ceiling for Italian Soccer Final {VIDEO}

Check that out! Some Greenpeace activists in Italy dropped a huge anti-nuclear banner 20 minutes into a huge Italian soccer match (and you know Italians are huge soccer fans). Furthermore, the banner stayed up for the whole game!

The game was apparently the Italian league finals for the Coppa Italia — the Italian Cup. The two teams playing were renowned Palermo and Internazionale (Inter) Milan.
