Assistant Curator of Horticulture: Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Phipps is seeking a full-time Assistant Curator of Horticulture to continue to upgrade and maintain all aspects of the Conservatory’s collections program and develop our signature plant collections. This will include the acquisition of plants for our permanent collections and changing exhibits, as well as the oversight of plant research and recordkeeping. The Assistant Curator will work with the design team and other departments to present coordinated, exciting exhibits to the public and will have specific oversight of designated rooms and staff in the Conservatory. The Assistant Curator will actively represent Phipps on a local and national level at horticultural-related events and on all plant-related topics.

Hydrologist (Renewable Resources): Bureau of Land Management
Independently plans and coordinates watershed analysis, wildfire or storm damage assessments, and evaluations of the water resource from planned or ongoing multiple-use activities. Plans and collects surface or groundwater water quality and quantity monitoring data to support projects and programs, and prepares records and reports.

Deputy Commissioner for Urban Park Services & Public Programs
Under the executive review of the Commissioner, with the broadest latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, initiative and scope of action, oversee the following divisions: Recreation, Parks Enforcement Patrol, Urban Park Rangers, Aquatics and Computer Resource Centers. Responsible for the efficient operations of public programming, education and security and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Create and adapt strategies for these areas and provide programmatic leadership and input for all strategic plan implementation processes.

National Program Leader, Water Resources: Agricultural Research Service
This position is located in the Office of National Programs (ONP). ONP is the principal organizational component of ARS, which develops, for the Administrator, options and recommendations for resource allocations. This is an interdisciplinary position and may be filled in any of the job series/position titles listed. In addition to the specialized experience requirements, applicants must submit proof that they meet the educational requirements for at least one of the series described in the announcement. Applicants may only be appointed to job series/position titles for which they meet all experience and educational requirements. As a National Program Leader for Water Resources, you will be providing technical leadership and guidance in the area of Water Resources.
