5 Days Worth of Satellite Images and Videos of Hurricane Irene

NASA Satellites have been watching Hurricane Irene for several days and providing the public with images of its progress.

On August 20, at 7PM EDT, System 98L formed into Hurricane Irene, east off the Leeward Islands. Ever since, Irene has been moving up the East Coast of America, making landfall at Cape Lookout in North Carolina, pounding Virginia before making landfall again near Little Egg Inlet in New Jersey early on Sunday morning, before once again weakening out to sea and making its third landfall over Coney Island New York.
