NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard the Aqua satellite captured this beautiful image of New Zealand on March 30.
Just as the clouds parted, MODIS caught this stunning image of New Zealand in bright green just before it slides into Autumn browns and golds. There is still snow capped mountains on the west of the South Island.
