"Let's Go Chipper Into The Great Outdoors" Tour Launches

Stephanie Rach has created the Chipper character as a way to capture her own children’s adventures and from a personal desire to provide parents with a resource that makes exploring the outdoors fun and stress-free. With respect and conscientiousness, and a well-adjusted outlook that comes from early connections with each other; the outdoors offer the perfect venue to enhance our physical and mental well-being at any age.

Chipper, an overly curious city squirrel and Ambassador of the Great Outdoors, is embarking on a cross-county tour designed to engage, excite and educate thousands of families about nature and the many ways they can get out and play.

The Let’s Go Chipper Into the Great Outdoors tour launches as a virtual path to the great outdoors connecting parents, educators, park rangers, and kids. Additionally, Chipper will visit schools, parks, retailers and national events to shake hands, donate activity books, and excite and ready children for adventures in the great outdoors.

The “get ready” program will run from April 2011 – June 2011 just in time for Earth Day and summer activities. “Our goal is to help prepare children and instill respect and enthusiasm for nature,” says creator of the Let’s Go Chipper Into the Great Outdoors series and community-based programs. “Now more than ever families should be spending time both together and in nature for positive social and emotional growth.”

I think this program is awesome for the old and young alike. Nature has a lot to offer our children.  In the Spring, Summer and Fall, our kids stay outside playing. Planting flowers, gardens and enjoying this Beautiful Earth. On the rainy or not so warm days, you can visit Chipper’s website for educational games and information on outdoor activities. Keep watch for Chipper to visit a city, park or school near you!
