With big news comes big jokes, even when the news is completely depressing and disheartening. Or perhaps because the news is such and we need a way to lighten up in the face of it.

  1. I heard that BP finally capped the oil leak by placing a giant sized wedding ring over it. Now it will no longer "put out".
