UK's Red List LIVE Music Festival to Benefit Endangered Species Protection

Organizers have announced a three-day music festival to take place in Port Lympne Wild Animal Park that will feature over 200 bands, visual artists, and poets. Half the profits from the event will be donated to the Aspinall Foundation.

The festival, scheduled for June 19-21, has not released a performer list but promises to bring big name headliners along with many lesser-known acts.

The Aspinall Foundation works inside two wildlife parks to breed endangered species and then reintroduce them to the wild. The two vast parks currently are home to about 1,000 animals and around 90 different species. The group also runs rescue centers in the Congo and Gabon for African mountain gorillas; the programs have reintroduced 50 gorillas into the wild.
