German Energy Shift Documentary, Free To Watch Documentary By Frank Farenski

A well-made documentary on the renewable energy revolution in Germany, “Leben Mit Der Energiewende“, is now available to watch for free online. The film is currently showing in some German cinemas, but is also available to everyone to watch for free online via a Creative Commons license. I recommend watching it, but it is in German, so how much you get out of it will depend somewhat on your familiarity with the German language. Enjoy.

Over on sister site CleanTechnica, we have reported extensively on the energy “revolution” occurring in Germany and the nature of the structural changes that are occurring there. For a good summary on why renewables, especially solar power, are doing so well in Germany, see our article: Germany Has More Solar Power Because Everyone Wins.

We’re going to try to bring more of that to Planetsave now, as well.

  1. Cats wander free poop in the yard rain wash it to the street into the gutter down the drain and to the sea. Then flat on the ocean to the whale / or ships with the pet cat on board and liter dumped over. Bingo infected whales.
Eskimos have cats. Birds eat infected mice whales eat birds. Just wondering how others think it happened.

    1. I think possibly in places like New York where they have a rat population thriving, its likely the same in all big ports?
And either human interaction with the natural order of things, theres no more perfect place for cats throughout ports the world over?
Possibly they have stowed cats away to help control the rat populations aboard sea bound cargo ships?

Something to that nature , its a human result whatever is the deal?

  2. interesting, the dozen plus comments correcting the misinformation in this article have disappeared. this is a raw meat disease, from rats, rabbits and birds which, if your pet lives outside, can be consumed. wash your hands, dont eat raw meat and google. this story is so full of outdated information

    1. They seem pretty sure about all of this, even though it’s just the findings of ONE paper. The author of this Planetsave “article” didn’t even bother to proofread their own work and missed several mistakes. Fail.

    2. I will be sure not to visit this web site again as why bother to post if they do stuff like that. I just blacklisted it.

      1. I didn’t receive a single comment. If there were comments that didn’t make it through Disqus’ filter, that must be due to some pretty horrible rep or clear spamming. But as I said, I haven’t touched a single comment.
