NJ Republican Governor Chris Christie: Nothing But Praise For Obama Support, Doesn’t “Give A Damn” About Romney Photo Op

Print Friendly

This video below is awesome on a few levels. For one, New Jersey’s Republican Governor Chris Christie completely sticks it to Fox News, nails Fox News correspondents like the morons they are, for bringing up a potential Romney photo op in the wake of Hurricane Sandy devastating the state. This is what everyone should do on this pseudo-news site. But really, I can’t say enough for Christie’s response here, basically saying he didn’t “give a damn” about playing around with presidential politics at this time.

Secondly, when the topic of Obama’s support came up later on in the interview, Christie is all compliments and praises for how much the president has gone out of his way to make sure the citizens of New Jersey and Governor Chris Christie got all the support he could get from Obama. Obama talked with Christie 3 times in the midst of the storm, even calling Christie at midnight. FEMA then got him an important expedited disaster area declaration at 2am, and Obama had it signed in the morning.

“President was great last night… I have to give the president great credit. He’s been on the phone with me 3 times in the last 24 hours. He’s been very attentive and anything that I’ve asked for he’s gotten to me. So I thank the president publicly for that; he has done, as far as I’m concerned, a great job for New Jersey.”

Surprised me, and definitely raised Christie a few notches in my eyes.
