One of our totally awesome readers (Jason Chua) recently created some beautiful pieces of art for our site. They are below, and below them is a very elegantly written note on the work, from Jason. (By the way, if you want to check out more of Jason’s stuff, go to his Behance page.)
From Jason (with minor edits):
Above is a series of 3 ads — Panda, Tiger, Snow Leopard. These are highly endangered animals.
What I’m trying to show is, be it killing them for fashion or destroying their homes/habitat, they are watching.
Animals have feelings, too — their eyes carry mixed feelings of agony, hatred, fear, sadness, etc.
Images are drawn out digitally — I choose not to use life images, because I want to show that, if we don’t take care of them, this is what the next generation is going to see, images, paintings, drawings, etc.
