Last week, at the popular South By Southwest techie conference, former president vice president Al Gore gave us a straight-up line of U.S. politics and society today: ”Our democracy has been hacked.” In particular, Gore was focusing on Big Money’s takeover of our political system. Gore’s call to action? “Occupy Democracy!”

“He pushed for the creation and implementation of digital tools and social media to ‘change the democratic conversation,’” the AP reports.

“Gore talked of a ‘Wiki-democracy’ of ‘digital flash mobs calling out the truth’ and ‘a government square that holds people accountable.’”

Sounds good to me.
