Monsanto is anything but your friendly mom-&-pop corporation. The GMO and chemical agribusiness giant seems to get off on putting farmers out of work, turning farmers into indentured servants, and claiming patents on life and on the ability to grow food. There’s hardly a positive adjective I can use to describe the company—the only one that comes to mind is “ambitious”—while many, many negative adjectives that I shouldn’t probably spend my time focusing on pop up immediately. But, on to the news….

Apparently, Monsanto has been convicted of chemical poisoning, as a farmer in France has been able to prove that some of Monsanto’s pesticides are linked to his neurological problems. Jeremy Bloom of sister site Red, Green, and Blue has more:
