The Toronto Zoo has a baby polar bear! And possibly even more exciting news is that you can help to name it! Isn’t that cool?
There’s a simple form to submit your idea for a name on a Toronto Zoo page for the polar bear cub.
Here are more details on the name submission page (if you haven’t made it over there yet):
“Born at the zoo, hand raised, and lovingly cared for by our veterinary wildlife and care staff, our adorable new polar bear cub is now ready to meet the world! The only thing we haven’t given him is a name. So come see him at the zoo and then visit our website or Facebook page to enter your best name in our Name the Cub Contest by March 16, 2012. The top five names will be voted on by the public. The winning name will be announced March 31, 2012.”
I’m not sure what name I’m going to submit yet… thinking about it.
