God's Response to Rick Perry

Rick Perry — praying for corporations, working to dirty our water and air and worsen our climate:

Besides the fact that the cloud is part of the joke and that clouds are ever-malleable to make into giant middle fingers, the cloud is also in the cartoon, as God, to symbolize the fact that some people’s idea of God (Republican extremists’, for example) clouds their minds and muddles their judgement.

I just deleted a whole diatribe illustrating that point further…I’ll save you the time and simply summarize.

Supporting Tea Party candidates makes you look very dumb to the rest of the world. Unfortunately, we (the rest of the world) have a vested interest since your ignorance could ruin the rest of the world.

Conclusion: Stop it.
