To think that the birds and fishes died due to gays and lesbian marriages is a superstition and christians do not believe in superstitions. However, the acts of gays and lesbians including their marriages are abominations in the sight of God. Mark the solemnness of the Word of God, “Whey they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,…wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves;… for this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature; and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornicaton, wickedness, ….. who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them…Therefore thou are excusable, O man,”
Jesus loves man for whom he has died but hates sin and will judge whoever commites it unless there is recognition, repentance and refrainment for it (1John 1:9). The fact that Jesus loves every man and woman is not a sanction for them to indulge in things that are against His Nature and commandments. “Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and long suffering; not knowing that the the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” Moreover, “the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appreared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.”
After a man has received Jesus as his Savious and being saved he has the responsibility to obey His Words that are written in the Holy Bible. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my Commandments.” “And this is love, that we walk after His Commandments.”
It is impossible that a born-again beliver, who has a new life and nature in him or her would ever indulge in such abominations against God. “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” It is these people that bring bad name to Christians,“…through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written” (Rom 2:23, 24). Pointing out a wickedness is not speaking a hate towards others. It is upholding the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy and faith of God which are not to be left undone (Matt 23:23). “Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:” “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” If I love a brother or a sister or a son, I will be constrained to correct and chasten him for I cannot bear to see him or her in a wrong path of destruction.
But these are the last days, “the time … when they will not endure sound doctrine.” It is not the wrongdoers that gets chastens or corrected but the witnesses. It is sad that this has become universal phenomenon among the children of God.
