Here’s a cool website I recently found out about. I’m sure you’ve probably seen carbon or ecological footprint calculators before, but a new one from Climate Action takes us one significant step further.

First, like many such calculators, you input certain info regarding your electricity usage, gas usage, flying details, etc. and find out, approximately, how many tons of carbon you are emitting in the process.

The next step is the unique one, though. Once you come up with an estimate of how much carbon you emit using their carbon calculator, you can buy carbon offsets by choosing which some green projects to help fund.

The offset projects fall into four categories: Community, Renewable, Industrial, and Forestry.

Anyway, check out the website and offset some of your carbon today!
